IMF/ESF - Terry, you are in the final days of preparations for this important event. How are the artists and guests responding to it? TERRY COSTA - It´s great to see how many people are excited to participate in the project, be it in the conference March 17th at Mod Club or one of the cultural presentations during the week. It is great to see videos coming in for the Proud to be Portuguese Canadian contest, as well as write ups.
IMF/ESF – Why do you think at this point in time that event is important?
TERRY COSTA - The event is important because it is getting people to talk about being Portuguese, especially people that otherwise you would not see speaking of their heritage in public. IMF/ESF – When all is said and done what would you like to be saying the day after?
TERRY COSTA - I want people to enjoy themselves, learn something new and after the event want to participate more then ever in the community and visit Portugal. I just want people to participate, be it join the website, facebook page, come to a show, join us for the free conference date. Participate! is that too much to ask?!
